Well, today, I got six more letters from different organizations that want money. Well, people, when you start fighting for my social security cost of living adjustment (COLA), I’ll send you money.

On Monday, the Wyandot County Commissioners accepted an application from Steven Webster to trap the county woods near Angeline. He was the only applicant. Trapping typically involves muskrats, fox or mink, depending on what is in season.

Cathy Hiner loves to work with her hands. A former United Methodist pastor, Hiner, 77, followed her daughter and moved to Upper Sandusky in 2009 and has been active with John Stewart United Methodist Church and the Wyandot County Council on Aging for the past seven years and counting.

Dear editor, I am a professional who has witnessed the prevalence of mental illness and addiction in Wyandot County. These are conditions that no family or community can hide from or be excluded from on some level anymore.
