Jane M. Shrider, registrar of vital statistics at the Wyandot County Health Department, reports there were five births and 15 deaths in the county during September. Births include five females; deaths include seven females and eight males. Fifty-one certified birth and 55 certified death certificates were issued. Seventeen burial permits were issued.

Frey’s Flying Wheels Belgians provided free rides through downtown Upper Sandusky on Thursday evening as part of the annual window unveiling. The rides were sponsored by Fairhaven Community.

North Warpole Street between Finley and Guthrie streets will be closed Monday and Tuesday. R.A. Bores Excavating Inc. will be boring the waterline under North Warpole street as part of the West Bigelow-CH 330 waterline replacement project.

The “Jazz in the Fall” choral concert is 7 p.m. Saturday at Upper Sandusky High School. The jazz choir Upper Class will perform, along with guest groups, Hardin Northern’s Awakened Commotion and Tiffin University’s Up in the Air.

TIFFIN — In keeping with the season theme of “Keep Calm and Women On,” Heidelberg University Theatre will present “Little Women: The Musical” from today through Sunday in Gundlach Theatre. Under the direction of Stephen Svoboda, “Little Women: The Musical” is from playwright Allen Knee and composer Jason Howard with lyrics by Mindi Dickson.

TIFFIN — Friday Night Live at the Ritz will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the National Theatre at The Ritz, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin. November’s artists include OCMEA Vocal Ensemble of Tiffin; Timber Run, a Roots/Americana trio featuring Tyler Chaffee, Weston Niedermier and Ethan Ruffing of Attica; and Jim Gill, a singer and songwriter from Cleveland.
