Children had an opportunity to make their own unique ugly Christmas sweaters Thursday from 3-4 p.m. at the Upper Sandusky Community Library for “That Thursday Thing.”

Accident damages County Dog Shelter

The Wyandot County Dog Shelter was damaged Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle accident. The crash report states an Upper Sandusky woman was traveling northbound on Ohio 199 and slowed to turn into a private drive at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Dog tag purchases due by Jan. 31

The Wyandot County Auditor’s Office would like to remind residents that 2018 dog licenses now are on sale and must be purchased by Jan. 31 to avoid the late penalty charge. Licenses are required for all dogs 3 months of age and older and are $16 each.
