Micro Business Development Program beginning May 31

FINDLAY — Recruitment is underway to enroll participants in the next Micro Business Development Program offered by the HHWP Community Action Commission. The program consists of 13 sessions held from 5:45-8:45 p.m. on Thursdays beginning May 31 at the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, 123 E. Main Cross St., Findlay. The final session will be Aug. 23.

Major Crimes Unit makes drug bust

The Wyandot Major Crimes Unit issued a press release stating on Tuesday morning it served a search warrant at 18093 TH 94, Forest. Detectives located suspected controlled substances in the residence that consisted of cocaine, prescription medications and marijuana.

Sycamore pool to open Saturday

SYCAMORE — Sycamore Village Council announced during it’s regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday that the Sycamore community pool will open from 1-7 p.m. Saturday. Sycamore Mayor Vicki Weininger announced the pool has four lifeguards plus two managers with lifeguard certification.
