Findlay man hurt in motorcycle accident

A Findlay man was life-flighted following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident south of Upper Sandusky on Monday evening. The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office reports that Glenn Miller, 59, of rural Findlay, was traveling northbound on Ohio 67 when his 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle left the roadway into a ditch.

Upper BOE alters dress code to allow shorts

At its meeting on Monday, the Upper Sandusky Exempted Village School District Board of Education approved the Upper Sandusky High School Student Handbook for the 2018-19 school year, but with a revision. Students will now be permitted to wear shorts, including athletic shorts, of appropriate length, or at least in the vicinity of the knee, during school.

Criminal, traffic cases heard in court

Kenneth W. Grable II, Nashville, Tennessee, charged by the sheriff with fugitive from justice, appeared on fugitive from justice warrant from Tennessee, waived rights to an extradition hearing and consented to be returned to the state of Tennessee. Gary L. Nutter, Upper Sandusky, charged by the police with aggravated menacing and persistent disorderly conduct, pleaded not guilty, indigency hearing held, trial set for July 9.
