Edler receives Domino’s Gold Franny Award

FINDLAY — Brian Edler has come a long way since beginning his career as a delivery driver. The local business owner of 18 Domino’s stores located in Findlay and surrounding areas, was awarded the esteemed International Franchise Association Gold Franny Award for operational excellence.

ODA to begin aerial gypsy moth treatments

REYNOLDSBURG — The Ohio Department of Agriculture will begin aerial treatments designed to disrupt gypsy moth mating on 32,526 acres in 15 counties, including Wyandot, across the state. To help protect Ohio’s diverse habitat, the Ohio Department of Agriculture operates multiple programs aimed at managing the gypsy moth in Ohio.

Train derailment detours traffic on Ohio 53 south of McCutchenville

McCUTCHENVILLE — Traffic is closed indefinitely on Ohio 53 just south of CH 16 after a train derailed Monday night. The Wyandot County Sheriff’s report states that deputies responded at approximately 8:38 p.m. after an eastbound train engine 6315 operated by crew number 712 from the Wheeling Lake Erie Railroad Company derailed when one of the axles broke on the train.
