The Upper Sandusky FFA visited residents at Fairhaven Community on Thursday, bringing a wide assortment of animals for residents to pet including puppies, kittens, rabbits, goats and even a donkey.

Seat belt video contest winners named

Click it or Ticket

Representatives from the Wyandot County Safe Communities Coalition met Thursday at the new EMS/EMA building in Upper Sandusky to announce the winners of a multi-media video contest for local high schoolers on seat belt usage. The event highlighted the kickoff of the 2018 “Click it or Ticket” campaign, which begins May 21 and lasts two weeks. Law enforcement officers will keep an extra eye out for seat belt usage over this period.

Dilley gets 5-year contract extension

Angeline School and Industries Superintendent Todd Dilley will be in charge for another five years. Following an executive session Thursday, the Wyandot County Board of Developmental Disabilities voted to approve re-employing Dilley for a five-year term effective July 1, 2018, through June 30, 2023.
