The Wyandot County Office of Economic Development celebrated 10 years with its annual dinner Monday evening at the Shawshank Woodshop in Upper Sandusky. WCOED Executive Director Greg Moon welcomed attendees and cited workforce development as one of the most important projects in the county currently, with significant efforts to educate the workforce as well as expose area high school students to local opportunities.

Traffic may be restricted at times for work related to the installation of a traffic signal at the east U.S.23/U.S.30 and CH 330 interchange in Upper Sandusky. ODOT says work performed by Perram Electric is expected to continue through late November.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library Board approved the 2019 budget during its regularly scheduled meeting Thursday afternoon. An item was added to the budget for the new Adventure Central program, which allows library members to check out non-traditional items.

MARION — Palace Theatre Executive Director Bev Ford has announced auditions will be held for the junior stage production of “The Tale of Snow White” on Dec. 18 and 19. Director Emily Yaksic is seeking young performers ages 7-14 to play a variety of leading and supporting characters in Barbara Lennon’s fresh and funny stage adaptation of the classic fairy-tale “Snow White.”
