Child among those injured in Marion County accident

MARION — Ohio State troopers from the Marion Post are investigating a serious injury crash that occurred on the afternoon of Oct. 1 on Ohio 309 at CR 162 in Marion County. The crash involved a blue 2000 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Elisha R. Cottrill, 30, Marion; a silver 2013 Kia Sorento driven by Lillian R. Hager, 74, Bucyrus; and a light blue 2003 Saturn SL1 driven by Amanda K. Klugh, 39, LaRue.

The tables were turned on Marseilles native Charlotte Leeth during her yearly volunteer mission to Ukraine with former Sycamore resident Lana Sakash. Typically, it’s Leeth and Sakash who are handing out gifts for children at the orphanage in the town of Rativtsi, but they found themselves guests of honor at a surprise town celebration
