Make a difference

An Upper Sandusky High School graduate is hoping he can spark residents of Wyandot County to help make a huge difference for at-risk youth in the community. Justin Swartz recently began the Wyandot County Mentoring Program. He was motivated to try something new after spending a decade working with children in need.

HHWP receiving funds for public transportation in Wyandot County

Almost all counties in Ohio have public transportation but Wyandot County has historically been on the short-list of those that do not. That is changing, however, as the Ohio Department of Transportation is granting funds to the Hancock Hardin Wyandot Putnam Community Action Commission (HHWP CAC) to expand public transportation offerings into Wyandot County.

USCL board has organizational meeting

The Upper Sandusky Community Library Board kicked off 2019 with an organizational meeting. Jennifer Romich, Dianne Grafmiller and Ann Kemerley were retained as president, vice president and secretary, respectively. Kathleen Whitt was reappointed as fiscal officer and Todd Leightey began his new term on the board. All positions were sworn in.
