Carey man hospitalized after crash CAREY — A Carey man with a blood alcohol content more than three times the legal limit was seriously injured when he lost control of his motorcycle on Ohio 103 west of Carey on Tuesday afternoon. Steven L. Bell, 45, was traveling westbound on Ohio 103 about one-third of a mile past CH 96 on his 2009 Harley-Davidson at about 1 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the right side of the road, overturned and was ejected from the motorcycle, according to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office. Teen girl charged as adult Pa. returns for appearance in Wyandot County court A Sycamore teen who ran away this summer and went on a three-state crime spree with a male companion has been extradited to Ohio to face charges in Wyandot County. According to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, Rose May, 15, was picked up by a deputy in Pittsburgh on Monday and transported to the Marion Juvenile Detention Center, where she is awaiting a hearing in Wyandot County Juvenile Court. Investigators search for clues in apartment fire that injured four KENTON — The source of Tuesday morning’s fire at the Scioto Village Apartment’s B building may not be known for a few more days. A K-9 officer from the Columbus area trained to sniff out accelerants was brought to the scene of the fire shortly after noon Tuesday, but the results of that search won’t be released until a final report is complete, Kenton Fire Chief Russ Blue said today.
