John Caldwell has been named the senior director of administrative services and business development at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Caldwell oversees the dietary, environmental services, maintenance and materials management departments.

Missy Hightower has been promoted to assistant general manager at NewVision FM. Like many of NewVision FM’s employees, Hightower started out as a volunteer because of her love for its radio ministry.

Physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist Mei-Chiew Lai, M.D., has moved his practice to Wyandot County and has office hours each Monday and Tuesday at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Lai has cared for patients at the hospital’s Specialty Healthcare Center since 1986.

ATTICA — North Central Electric Cooperative has refunded over $700,000 in patronage capital credits to nearly 11,600 former and current members starting in early December. At its November meeting, the NCE board of trustees approved a patronage capital credit refund of $715,947, marking the 39th consecutive year the cooperative has retired capital credits to current and former members.

FINDLAY — Michelle Stratton, RN and forensic nursing program coordinator at Blanchard Valley Hospital, has been named the 2018 International Association of Forensic Nurses Ohio Chapter Forensic Nurse of the Year. According to the Ohio Chapter of the IAFN, forensic nurses of the year are providers who contribute to the development of teaching, disseminating information or promoting forensic nursing in their communities.

Sarah M. Walter joined Saull Law & Title on Thursday. Walter brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge, having worked for an established law firm before transitioning to Saull Law. Walter was admitted to the Ohio Bar on Nov. 7, 2016, after graduating from the prestigious George Washington Law School in Washington, D.C.

Achieving the highest possible rating, Westbrook Assisted Living and Memory Care received zero violations from the Ohio Department of Health following an unannounced inspection conducted Oct. 31.

Ohio Ag Equipment announced its intent to acquire the Wyandot County AGCO dealer Schmidt Machine Company, Ag division, on the target date of Dec. 17. The acquisition of Schmidt Machine Company’s equipment business will strengthen Ohio Ag Equipment’s ability to service the ag industry by providing customers in central Ohio with an exceptional line of equipment and product support.
