Sherman receives academic scholarship

WILMINGTON — Upper Sandusky High School senior Renee E. Sherman is the recipient of a $10,500 academic achievement scholarship to attend Wilmington College. She plans to major in agricultural business and agricultural communication.

Wharton Easter egg hunt winners announced

WHARTON — The annual Wharton Easter egg hunt recently was held at the Wharton Park. More than 40 children, ranging from birth through fourth grade participated in the hunt, which was sponsored by the Wharton park board and the Wharton Grow ‘n Learn Mothers Club.

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on April 6 and is correct as of that date: Pets reported as missing since the previous report that have not been found include a black and tan female German shepherd, a red and white female pit bull, a tan neutered male shih tzu, a black and white spayed female cat, a gray male cat, and a tri color male rat terrier-corgi mix.

Wyandot County SNRC to host 2nd hoedown April 23

Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will host its second annual country hoedown from 4-8 p.m. April 23. The event will include square dancing with a five-star professional, games for children, food and entertainment.
