GALION — The next meeting of the Crawford County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society is scheduled for 7 p.m. June 16 at Peace Lutheran Church, Galion. The program will be given by Al Fulton, who will portray Ralph Jolly of Seccaium Park; and Jan Fulton, who will portray Catherine Quaintance.

The Wyandot County Ohio State University Extension has announced the names of 10 graduating seniors who were awarded scholarships through the 4-H program.

ATHENS — Ohio University in Athens has released its dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2015-16 year.

The family of a deceased Upper Sandusky couple has donated a bench to Old Mission Church in their memory. The late Paul and Phyllis Strub were lifetime residents of Upper Sandusky and members of John Stewart United Methodist Church.

The next meeting of the What’s Cookin’ cookbook discussion group is slated for 6:30-8 p.m. June 27 at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. Group organizer Cheryl Lyon will give a demonstration on healthy eating.

SYCAMORE — Sycamore United Church of Christ will host a farewell potluck for its pastor, the Rev. Robin LaBolt, following its regular worship service June 19.
