An informal committee of Wyandot County residents will sponsor a community-wide candlelight vigil to honor the victims of the mass shooting at the Pulse in Orlando, Florida, on Sunday.

Tanielle and Scott Gelbaugh, of Findlay, are the parents of a girl, Brooke Ann Gelbaugh. She was born at 5:07 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.

Brittany Drowdy and Jeremy Alvarez, both of Bucyrus, are the parents of a girl, Serenity Grace Alvarez. She was born at 4:06 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20 inches long.

Kate and Thomas Brause, of Bucyrus, are the parents of a boy, Bradley Thomas Brause. He was born at 8:17 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2016 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

Twenty-four baby sitters completed a recent training course at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

The Upper Sandusky High School class of 1956 recently met for its 60th reunion dinner at Shotzy’s Restaurant. The class graduated 74 members on May 28, 1956, and 17 members have died.

NEVADA — The Nevada Alumni Association recently held its annual banquet at Wynford High School with 80 alumni and guests in attendance, of which 55 were Nevada High School graduates.
