HARPSTER — Harpster United Methodist Church will host a tour for United Methodist Women on Wednesday. The tour will leave the church at 10 a.m. The public is invited to attend.

NEW WASHINGTON — The 50th reunion of the Wynford High School class of 1966 recently took place at Cranberry Hills Golf Course, New Washington. A small gathering was held the night of June 24 at Holiday Inn Express, Bucyrus, with 35 in attendance.

McCUTCHENVILLE — The Seneca Muzzle Loaders will stop at the Overland Inn Museum from 1-4:30 p.m. Saturday. Attendees are invited to see historic clothing styles, see the dwellings that were used and learn about skills needed in the past.

COLUMBUS — Ohio PTA is seeking qualified and motivated people to serve on the Ohio PTA Board of Directors for the 2017-19 term. Elections will be during the 111th Ohio PTA Convention, to be held April 28-30 at DoubleTree Hotel, Columbus.

Ohio has joined a growing national effort to reduce the number of people with mental illness who cycle through county jails. A local team convened in Columbus last week to learn how the national Stepping Up initiative is bringing local criminal justice and behavioral health systems together to improve public safety, access to services and treatment outcomes.
