Emilee Gail Teets

Ashley and Christopher Teets, of Cardington, are the parents of a girl, Emilee Gail Teets. She was born Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at Marion General Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces. The grandparents are Gerry and Carol Leeth, Upper Sandusky; Rick and Joyce Green, Richwood; and Eugene Teets, Cardington.

Briggs Matthew Gompf

Rosanne and Brock Gompf, of Upper Sandusky, are the parents of a boy, Briggs Matthew Gompf. He was born at 3:33 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long. The maternal grandmother is Brenda Miller, Upper Sandusky. The paternal grandparents are Tom Gompf, Sycamore, and Bobbie Gompf, Columbus.

Clara Elizabeth Clinger

Natalie and Christopher Clinger, of Sycamore, are the parents of a girl, Clara Elizabeth Clinger. She was born at 5:02 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20 inches long. The maternal grandparents are Jeff and Julia Ahlers, St. Marys. The paternal grandparents are Jenni and Rod Clinger, Sycamore.

Paisley Jean Ruehle

Toni Haubert and Daniel Ruehle, both of Tiffin, are the parents of a girl, Paisley Jean Ruehle. She was born at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. She weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces and was 18.5 inches long.

Humane Society: October 11, 2016

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Oct. 6 and is correct as of that date: Pets reported as missing since the previous report that have not been found include a brown and white neutered male American bulldog, a male black Labrador puppy, a black and white neutered male cat, a male blue merle miniature Australian shepherd, a blonde neutered male chihuahua, a neutered male gray tiger cat, a sable and white male sheltie and a black and white female rat terrier-chihuahua mix.

Meeting minutes: October 11, 2016

A re-enactor portraying Mother Solomon of the Wyandot Indian tribe visited 14 members of the Emanuel UCC women’s guild when they met for their October meeting. Retired teacher Nancy Sauer portrayed the well-known Indian woman as she related her story from birth to her death in 1890.
