St. Peter School sixth-grader Grace Vent shattered the school’s previous record for the number of digits of pi recited from memory on Monday, which was Rounded Pi Day. The first six digits of pi are 3.14159, and when rounded come to 3.1416.

Tiffin Historic Trust to host 1st tea party

TIFFIN — The Tiffin Historic Trust is hosting its first Victorian tea party of the season “Tea for Dolly and Me” with guest speaker Myrna Riedel, of the Enchanted Moments Doll and Gift Shoppe Museum and Gallery. The event is at 12:30 p.m. April 9 at the Grammes-Brown House and Garden, 172 Jefferson St., Tiffin.

Conn, Pneuman to marry

Sami Conn and Colin Pneuman, both of Upper Sandusky, recently announced their engagement and upcoming wedding. The bride-to-be is a daughter of Dee and Herb Conn, of Upper Sandusky.

Ashlee and Joel Ratliff, of Upper Sandusky, are the parents of a girl, Kai Emri Ratliff. She was born at 8:57 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
