St. Peter School sixth-grader Grace Vent shattered the school’s previous record for the number of digits of pi recited from memory on Monday, which was Rounded Pi Day. The first six digits of pi are 3.14159, and when rounded come to 3.1416.

KENTON — Kenton-Hardin Co. Business and Professional Women will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Henry’s Restaurant for dinner and a meeting. The speakers will be area director John Neville and Hardin County director Andrea Richardson of Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

TIFFIN — The Tiffin Historic Trust is hosting its first Victorian tea party of the season “Tea for Dolly and Me” with guest speaker Myrna Riedel, of the Enchanted Moments Doll and Gift Shoppe Museum and Gallery. The event is at 12:30 p.m. April 9 at the Grammes-Brown House and Garden, 172 Jefferson St., Tiffin.

The Wyandot County Council for Birth Defects recently met in The Transfiguration of The Lord meeting room. Mary Alice Harbour opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance.
