HEAP Winter Crisis Program helps heating costs for families in need The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program began Nov. 1 and is to continue through March 31 or as long as funds remain available. The Winter Crisis Program was created to provide financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income eligible households who are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service or transfer service or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel. 4-H fundraiser set for Sun. The Wyandot County 4–H Advisory Council will host a pancake breakfast and sausage meal fundraiser and 4-H family kickoff event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wyandot County Fairgrounds dining hall.
