BUCYRUS — Bucyrus Public Library will host Pinterest Days at 2 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 p.m. March 20. Each participant will make and take a paper dahlia or sunflower wreath.

Kindergarten registration now is open to all residents of Upper Sandusky Exempted Village Schools. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1 are required by law to register and be screened. Registration is available on the school district’s website at www.usevs.org.

TIFFIN — The Seneca County Retired Teachers Association will reward a monetary grant to a high school senior residing in Seneca County who plans to pursue a career in the education field. The application deadline is April 11.

The seventh annual Sandusky County Stars Dancing for CASA, or Court-Appointed Special Advocates, will take place April 1 at The Heights/American Legion, 2000 Buckland Ave., Fremont. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.

AARP Tax-Aide will offer free tax preparation through a joint effort with the Wyandot County Council on Aging and Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church. Volunteers will e-file federal, state and school tax returns at no cost at the church on Malabar Drive each Thursday and Friday from Feb. 2 to April 13.

The Wyandot County Prostate Cancer Support Group will meet for an open forum discussion at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Bowman and Kirkland conference rooms on the hospital’s lower level. The locally-organized support group is for men of all ages.

The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program that began in November is scheduled to end March 31. The Winter Crisis Program provides financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income-eligible households that are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service or transfer service, or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel.

BUCYRUS — Crawford Theatre Company will hold open auditions for its Summer Musical, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “CATS.” Auditions will be from 12-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at MB Subculture, the former Capitol Cinema 5, 1715 Marion Road, Bucyrus.
