MARION — The United Way of Marion County awarded The Ohio State University at Marion’s Pay It Forward Program with its Community Partner award at the organization’s annual meeting Wednesday.

The 25th annual Angeline auction and consignment sale is set for Sunday at the Angeline gym. Doors open at 9 a.m. and bidding starts at 10 a.m.

BUCYRUS — Crawford Park District naturalist Josh Dyer will lead a program that investigates the nighttime courtship ritual of one of the county’s earliest bird migrants, the American Woodcock, at 7:30 p.m. March 30 at Sears Woods, 1486 Mt. Zion Road.

Mittermaier joins Ashland University baseball team ASHLAND — Carson Mittermaier of Wharton is a member of the Ashland University baseball team.

The US Robotics Club for Upper Sandusky students in sixth through 12th grades will show off their programmable robot creations during a public open house from 3:30-6 p.m. Thursday at the middle school.

Award-winning children’s book writer and illustrator David Catrow will be at Upper Sandusky Community Library at 6:30 p.m. April 4. Sign-in for the program will be from 6-6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend the program and book-signing.
