Award-winning children’s book writer and illustrator David Catrow will be at Upper Sandusky Community Library at 6:30 p.m. April 4. Sign-in for the program will be from 6-6:30 p.m.

Upper Sandusky Community Library will host a free clothing swap from 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday. No one will be allowed into the swap area before the 6:30 p.m. start time.

BUCYRUS — The Rotary Club of Bucyrus will hold its 32th annual Auctionfest fundraising event April 8 at the Trillium Event Center on Southern Avenue in Bucyrus. The Rotary Club has partnered with Bucyrus Outreach and Restoration Network and the Wynford Band Boosters to raise support for these organizations.

FOREST — Heritage Christian Union Church, 15738 Ohio 37, Forest, will finish its 2017 winter concert series at 7 p.m. Sunday. One Voice Country Gospel group from north central Ohio will perform southern gospel music.

AARP Tax-Aide will offer free tax preparation through a joint effort with the Wyandot County Council on Aging and Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church. Volunteers will e-file federal, state and school tax returns at no cost at the church on Malabar Drive each Thursday and Friday through April 13.

The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program that began in November is scheduled to end March 31. The Winter Crisis Program provides financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income-eligible households that are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service or transfer service, or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel.

SYCAMORE — First National Bank of Sycamore presented a $1,000 donation that will be used for a fundraising campaign that recently was kicked off by the McCutchenville Park Association. The campaign hopes to raise $45,000 in an effort to replace fencing and add to existing lights.

FOREST — Forest Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion will host a fish fry from 5-7 p.m. April 14 at 204 W. Lima St., across from the Forest village offices. The groups are adding more than 40 pounds of fish after running out of fish during the previous two fries.

SYCAMORE — Wenner-Galbraith Preschool is registering children for the 2017-18 school year.
