Meeting minutes: April 18, 2017

Kappa and Lambda Chapters of Delta Kappa Gamma International recently came together at We Luv Yogurt, Upper Sandusky. Co-Presidents Kathy Lundy and Virginia Shellhouse welcomed 33 members and a speaker to celebrate DKG Founders’ Day.

Humane Society: April 18, 2017

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Monday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a long-haired female tiger cat, a red female English coonhound, a tan female pekinese-poodle mix, a white chicken, a tiger and white neutered male Maine coon cat, a red and white female pit bull, a white and tan female pit bull, a yellow and white cat, a neutered male bloodhound and a neutered male dachshund.

Mohawk screenings set

SYCAMORE — Mohawk Local School District will conduct kindergarten screenings May 4-5 at the district’s MCI Building. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 1, 2017 are required by law to register and to be screened.

Military quilt

A quilt made of T-shirts worn by members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard while in service will be raffled off at the St. Peter School festival June 10.
