Assistance available to buy window air conditioners, fans

HHWP Community Action Commission’s HEAP 2017 Summer Crisis Program begins today and continues through Aug. 31 or until funding and/or equipment is fully exhausted. This program may provide a payment up to $300 toward a regulated or up to $500 toward an unregulated electric bill and/or a window air conditioner and/or a tower oscillating electric fan.

Hartsel, Ankney announce engagement

Haylie Hartsel of Tiffin and Seth Ankney of Upper Sandusky recently announced their engagement and upcoming wedding. The bride-to-be is a daughter of Scott Hartsel and Vicki Hartsel, both of Tiffin. Her fiancé is a son of Mike Ankney, Sycamore, and Sonja Ankney, Upper Sandusky.

Crawford County photo contest deadline Friday

Senior citizens age 60 and older may register now for Wyandot County Council on Aging’s annual summer picnic from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 7 at Ellis Lake, 7430 TH 124, Upper Sandusky. There will be horse shoes, cornhole, nature walks, a euchre tournament, board games, live music and an ice cream truck.
