The Wyandot County Health Alliance will host a bike safety rodeo for children from 10 a.m. to noon May 20 in the parking lot at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Upper Sandusky. The event will include an obstacle course for young riders, bicycle fittings and informational stations by local agencies.

The Friends of the Library recently bought benches, a mini kitchen island, a convection microwave and an induction cooktop and cookware for the Upper Sandusky Community Library.

Logan Haferd read 1,000 books before kindergarten. Dorcas Carey Public Library offers the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten reading program for children up to school-age. Each child receives a log for books to be recorded and special incentives are given along the way to 1,000.

FOREST — Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion will host a fish fry from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the VFW Hall, 204 W. Lima St., Forest. It is the last fish fry until October. Proceeds go to scholarships for Riverdale students.
