Crawford Park District to host Monarch events

CRESTLINE — Crawford Park District will host a Monarch tagging event at 5:30 p.m. today at Unger Park, 1303 Bucyrus-Nevada Road, just west of Bucyrus, and 6 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Buckeye Central Outdoor Learning Lab. Guests can learn about the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly, its need for milkweed plants and its migration to Mexico.

Ignite Hope set at Upper park

Ignite Hope will be from 5-7 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Harrison Smith Park ampitheater. Members of the Ohio Valley Adult and Teen Challenge Center and the Teen Challenge of the Firelands Women’s Center will share music and talk about their personal journeys with drug addiction and how they were able to break free.
