Biking/walking trail to improve access to OSU-Marion campus

MARION — A new leg of the Marion campus biking/walking trail is taking shape as the Ohio State University campus’s summer paving project progresses. A section of the trail that will eventually connect with the Royal Oaks subdivision on the west and the Forum Shopping Center on the east now is being paved. The campus trail will cut through the woods to Woodside Drive and allow easier access from the campus to the Forum Center with a pedestrian bridge over Grave Creek.

CAREY — The Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, Carey, welcomes everyone to join them Aug. 6-14 for the annual novena to Our Lady of Consolation in preparation for the feast of her assumption. The annual celebration of Mary’s assumption into heaven is the largest event at the Shrine.
