Music used to share Christmas

Seeking Peniel, a worship band whose passion is to share the good news of Jesus, will present the Christmas Story through live music and spoken word this holiday season. The family-friendly event is 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity Evangelical UMC, 108 Malabar Drive, Upper Sandusky, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for coffee; and 4-5:30 p.m. Saturday at Bascom UMC, 5660 W. Tiffin St., Bascom, where sandwiches and snacks will be provided after.

Annual campaign focuses on new patient beds

WMH annual campaign

New patient beds are needed at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, and they are the priority project for the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Annual Campaign. “Our patients have complained about difficulty resting and sleeping on the current beds and mattresses,” reported Tammy Jeffrey, the hospital’s assistant vice president of nursing services.

United Way invites public to take part in challenge

MARION — This holiday season, the United Ways in Crawford, Marion and Wyandot counties invite their communities to join the #Give2 challenge. A collaborative effort between the three organizations, the #Give2 challenge encourages individuals to make a donation to their local United Way equal to just two hours of their pay.

CAREY — Our Lady of Consolation School is going to participate in a school-wide activity that is largely based on giving back to others to help the needy during Christmas on Friday. The activity is based on anonymous service to help those in need in receiving a Christmas meal.
