Slime time!

Young readers took part in the annual Slime Time event Tuesday at Gormley Park in Forest as part of the Forest-Jackson Library's summer reading program. Teams were divided and asked a series of questions, many based on authors or characters in books.

Tree Town Fest needs volunteers

Warpole Chapter No. 366, OES recently held a visitation by the Worthy Grand Matron, Kelly Cholodewitsch and Worthy Grand Patron, Dennis Lawson and a reception honoring the 2019 Chairman of Arraignments, Debra Pool. Guests introduced at this meeting were the Cholodewitsch and Lawson who were presented honorary memberships into the Warpole chapter by Pool (past grand), Frank Clifton (worshipful master of Anchor Lodge No. 283 and David Sexton, both patrons; Marilyn Rowley and Gayle Sutherin (grand treasurer), both past grand matrons; and JoAnn Hastings and Gail Walsh (grand trustee).
