Katie Martin and Aaron Kline, both of Upper Sandusky, recently announced their engagement and upcoming wedding. The bride-to-be is a daughter of Susan and Joel Smith and David and Cindy Martin, of Upper Sandusky. She is a 2012 graduate of Mount Vernon High School, a 2015 graduate of Miami University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts, and a 2018 graduate of Heidelberg University with a master’s in school counseling. She currently serves as a school counselor at Ridgedale Local Schools.

Piano students of Louise Lortz, rural Upper Sandusky, performed at a piano recital held at Westbrook Assisted Living in Upper Sandusky June 7. Jana Radabaugh, daughter of Greg and Angie Radabaugh, of Upper Sandusky, opened the program. She played “Dance in F Major” by Mozart, “The Spy” by Faber, “You Raise Me Up,” by Graham and Loveland, “The Music of the Night” by Webber and “River Flows In You” by Yiruma.

Megan Bair, CNM, CNP, is offering walk-in office hours at Wyandot Memorial Hospital to care for females age 12 and older. Bair is available from 8 a.m. to noon on the first Saturday of each month for new and existing patients to walk-in for care without appointments.

The updated version of the Mohawk Lady Warriors Softball record book will be available for purchase 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Mohawk Community Library. The record manual is a history of the Lady Warriors softball program from its inception in 1974 through the present.

The Wellness Center at Wyandot Memorial Hospital is offering its Living with Diabetes course to diabetics and their support persons from 5:30-8:30 p.m. June 19 and 20 in the conference room on the hospital’s lower level. Living with Diabetes is a multi-disciplinary approach to disease management, which includes sessions with a nurse, exercise physiologist, dietitian and pharmacist. The course helps participants improve self-management of blood sugars through education, diet, exercise and medication.

The Arc of Wyandot County is offering a scholarship to college sophomores, juniors or seniors, in memory of the Robert Hussey family that was instrumental in getting education for the disabled in Wyandot County. The scholarship application can be picked up at the Upper Sandusky Community Library.

FOREST — The Forest-Jackson Library is now offering home delivery. Riverdale Local School District residents who are home-bound and interested in having books delivered may call the library at 419-273-2400 to sign up for this service.

Come under the oaks again this summer, now through the last Sunday of August at the Wyandot Mission Church. The church is open for tours on Saturdays and hosts an 8 a.m. morning worship service on Sundays.

Three new trips have been announced for the Wyandot County Council on Aging. Due to popular demand, a second summer food tour to Fort Wayne, Indiana will take place Aug. 27. The cost of the trip is $104.
