CRESTLINE — The Crawford County Parks District recently announced upcoming events. Recycling is 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center, 2401 Ohio 598. The Colonel Crawford Lions Club and The Friends of the Crawford Park District host a recycle day the second Saturday of each month through the year.

COLUMBUS — During National Farmers’ Market Week, Aug. 4-10, 2019, the Ohio Department of Aging announces that the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 State Budget includes funding that will allow the agency to increase access to healthy, locally grown, fresh fruits and vegetables for older Ohioans.

FINDLAY — The Flag City BalloonFest will host its 20th hot air balloon festival Aug. 9 – 11 at Emory Adams Park in Findlay. Spectators can look forward to a number of new events and enjoy returning favorites. While some activities have minimal fees, the Flag City BalloonFest has no admission or parking fees thanks to its generous sponsors.
