Free summer youth lunch program on Wednesdays The Wyandot County Mentoring Program is offering a free summer lunch program for youth in Wyandot County from 11:30 a.m. to noon every Wednesday until Aug. 14 at John Stewart UMC in Upper Sandusky. The program is for youth in grades kindergarten through 12 and is sponsored in part by the United Way of Wyandot County, Wyandot County Family and Children First and the Wyandot County Mentoring Program. Business deadline for Block Rally is Thursday The third annual South Sandusky Block Rally is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 26 at South Sandusky Avenue in Upper Sandusky from the courthouse to the railroad tracks. The event will benefit No One Fights Alone, a Wyandot County nonprofit which began in 2012 to provide care bags to local cancer patients containing items such as gas and food cards as well as other helpful items to remove some burden of cancer treatments. To date, the non-profit has provided more than 500 bags to local cancer patients. Read More
