Merle and Anna (Barber) Goodman celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday during an event catered and hosted by Cheers 2 U. The event was in the banquet room at the Upper Sandusky restaurant.

Minor and Elma (Bowen) Spitler of Upper Sandusky recently celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. The Spitlers were married May 31, 1942 in Upper Sandusky.

CAREY — Paul and Bonnie (Plummer) Conley of Carey will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday. Mr. Conley is a son of the late Bruce and Ruby Conley.

Longtime Upper Sandusky residents Al and Jan (Zischkau) Stoneburner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday night, dining and dancing aboard the Odyssey as it cruises the Potomac River in Washington DC. High school sweethearts, the Stoneburners were married April 29, 1967 by the Rev. Minor Gressley in Angola, Indiana.

Charles Patrick and Rita Mary (Niederkohr) Logsdon, 216 W. Johnson St., Upper Sandusky, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Monday. Mrs. Logsdon is a daughter of William and Laura Niederkohr.

Frederick and Connie (Denney) Gillen will celebrate their 50th anniversary March 31, 2017. They were united in marriage at First Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky by the Rev. Charles Steward.
