Clothing swap

Area residents lined up inside the Upper Sandusky Community Library on Thursday evening for the biannual clothing swap. Two rooms in the library basement were filled with donations of gently used and new clothing given in the past two weeks, and the public was invited to stop into the library starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday to choose from a variety of clothing, including different styles and sizes, accessories, shoes, purses and more.

Measure-Up

Sycamore home destroyed

A residence just east of the village of Sycamore was destroyed in a fire early Monday morning. Sycamore Fire Chief Bryan Clouse said his department responded to 2630 Ohio 103 at 4:27 a.m.

Rally part of statewide effort on National Overdose Awareness Day

BUCYRUS — “My daughter didn’t need charged as a felon. She needed help,” Cindy Koumoutzis said. Koumoutzis is the state director for Ohio Change Addiction Now, and was one of around 100 people who took to the steps of the Bucyrus City Hall on Wednesday night to call for more ways to help recovering drugs addicts during National Overdose Awareness Day.
