SYCAMORE — The Wyandot County mayor’s breakfast held its 12th session since its inception and gave local officials the opportunity to share the happenings of their municipalities with other county officials Tuesday morning.

Members of Apostolic Gospel Church braved a wintry mix Sunday night in presenting the first live nativity scene outside the front doors of the church at 221 N. Fifth St., Upper Sandusky.

A new cardiac rehabilitation telemetry monitoring system is needed for the Wellness Center at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, and it is the priority project for the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation’s annual campaign.

SYCAMORE — After more than four decades of weekly bingo nights sponsored by Sycamore Volunteer Fire and Rescue, the officer team stood before a crowd of 98 people Friday night to announce the end of a legacy.

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk Lioness Club on Thursday donated its 1980 charter to the Mohawk Historical Society for display at the museum in Sycamore. The local service club was chartered May 31, 1980 with 21 members.

SYCAMORE — When people think of Christmas gifts, oftentimes the first age group on their minds is the youngest in the community. Youth, eager to share their Christmas wishes, are the ones who most often are drawn by visits of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
