Rams run past Tigers, 75-37

ATTICA — They were a little slow to start, but once they got up to speed, the Rams had no problem maintaining their pace. Upper Sandusky’s starters took it to Seneca East for three quarters before ceding to the reserves down the stretch of a 75-37 win on the road Friday night.

The barn that houses the horses owned by junior fair exhibitors during the Wyandot County Fair received a makeover during the past few weeks. A $15,000 donation from Upper’s Winter Fantasy of Lights to the horse barn committee assisted in covering the total project cost of $19,675 to give the barn new siding, windows and repairs to some structural issues.

Wyandot, Crawford Co. landowners attend forum for open ditch project

SYCAMORE — Approximately 30 landowners or representatives attended a meeting at the Mohawk Community Library on Tuesday evening and heard a presentation by the Wyandot County Soil and Water Conservation District. A public forum was held to further inform landowners whose properties are located in a watershed that drains into a ditch with a proposed group project known as the Wahrer Group Ditch Reconstruction Project.
