Fairhaven holds rededication

Fairhaven Community celebrated a rededication Friday afternoon. Significant upgrades were made to the retirement facility over the last three and a half years thanks in part to $1.7 million dollars raised by 423 donors over a seven-year period of fundraising and Fairhaven proudly showed them off with guided tours.

South School Parent Team raising funds for handicap-accessible playground equipment

Handicap-accessible playground equipment will hopefully be coming to Upper Sandusky soon. South Elementary School is the only ranch-style school within city limits. A child with any physical disability or limitation will be sent to South Elementary School because there are no stairs to get into the building and they can access the entire building.

Law officers give drug update

Members of Wyandot County Law Enforcement spoke with community leaders and concerned citizens Wednesday evening at Upper Sandusky High School. The presentation, titled “The Drug Epidemic: Hitting Close to Home,” was given by members of the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit, which has representatives from the Carey and Upper Sandusky police departments and the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.

WCOED holds annual dinner

SYCAMORE — The Wyandot County Office of Economic Development held its ninth annual dinner Monday at the Sycamore Community Center. WCOED Executive Director Greg Moon kicked off the program with an update on the organization and Wyandot County overall.
