Piled up

Recent high winds have already taken a toll on the beautiful autumn leaves in Upper Sandusky, and raking season has begun. The city will begin leaf pick-up soon and residents will eventually be asked to pile leaves at the edge of their property, but away from obstructions and curbs.

SYCAMORE — With Cole Rieman back in the mix, Leipsic had more athletes than Mohawk could handle. The team’s leading receiver came back from an injury that caused him to miss the last six games and had five catches for 96 yards, including four for 85 in the second half when the Vikings ran away with a 40-14 victory against the Warriors in a Division VII Region 26 quarterfinal Saturday night at Warrior Field.
