First responders were on the scene this morning after a passerby reported a wrecked Dodge Ram 3500 abandoned on CH 44 near Ohio 199. The vehicle had damage to the steering wheel on the inside and was damaged on its front left side.

CALEDONIA — Wynford nearly erased a 20-point fourth-quarter deficit but hot-shooting River Valley was almost perfect at the foul line and did not let it happen. The Vikings connected on 13 3-pointers and made their first 19 free throws before missing their final attempt, holding off the Royals in a 94-88 shootout of a nonconference boys basketball game Wednesday night.
