A local marriage proposal went viral Thursday. Now-fiance Kieren Robertson (middle) enlisted the help of Anna Massara’s co-workers and third grade students at St. Peter School in Upper Sandusky on Dec. 20, the last day before winter break.

The 2018 Bells of Uptown contest asked businesses in Upper Sandusky to decorate their windows while adding a hidden number in their display. Members of the public picked up an entrant form which required them to stop by each display and find each businesses’ hidden number before they voted for their favorite decoration.

The businesses of downtown Upper Sandusky were once again incentivised to decorate their windows this past month thanks a brainstorming session from two local business owners. After Majic 95.9 stopped doing the downtown window unveilings for Upper Sandusky in 2017, Kelly Giacalone from A Cut Above and Spa and A-1 Printing Inc.’s Becky Lloyd decided to get involved.
