Sycamore Fire receives grant SYCAMORE — The Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department received a grant for first responders from a Seneca County charity during its meeting on Monday. The non-profit Just for Kids of Seneca County donated $1,700 to the Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department for the purchase of body armor vests, intended to be used during active shooter events as well as other situations which often involve children being needless victims.
