CAREY — Since 1950, the only credit union in Wyandot County has served only one community within the area. But a recent change is allowing it to expand.

CAREY — Officials from throughout Wyandot County heard from Amber Wertman, executive director of United Way of Marion and Wyandot counties, during a recent mayor’s breakfast at Splinter’s Cafe in Carey. The breakfast had been organized by the late Carey mayor, Steven Smalley, before Smalley died June 17.

TIFFIN — The North Central Electric Cooperative general manager took aim at President Obama’s Clean Power Plan at its annual meeting June 14 at the Seneca County Fairgrounds.
