Heidelberg choir to perform April 26

TIFFIN – The Heidelberg University Concert Choir, the premiere choral ensemble of the university’s School of Music & Theatre, will perform its home concert at 7:30 p.m. April 26 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Under the direction of Dr. Greg Ramsdell, director of choral activities and associate professor of choral music education, and accompanied by Cynthia Ramsdell, the 51-member vocal choir will present a concert with the theme “Oh! The Places You’ll Go” in anticipation of its international tour to Europe in May 2019.

Nevada hosting spring carnival May 18

NEVADA — Nevada United Methodist Church will hold its annual spring carnival from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 18 at the church, 317 N. Main St., Nevada. Open to the public, this event offers fun for the whole family featuring face painting, a bounce house, carnival games and goodie bags for children.

Wyandot Tracers to meet today

Ashlie Webb Payton will be the program presenter for today’s meeting of the Wyandot Tracers. Payton is a graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, attended BGSU and currently lives in Upper Sandusky with her husband Ryan and four children. She loves to participate in Civil War re-enactments and enjoys her family’s travels to historic spots around the country.

Resurrection breakfast set for Saturday

MANSFIELD — The Greater Mansfield Resurrection Breakfast is 8:30-11 a.m. Saturday at the Mid-Ohio Conference Center, 890 W. Fourth St., Mansfield. Now in its 31st year, this annual breakfast is open to all and will feature speaker Al Lindner, a professional fisherman and author.
