CAREY — For the second time in one week, Carey’s Sarah Reinhart won a race by more than a minute. Reinhart won the girls race in 20:16 at the Carey Run on Thursday at Carey. Her closest competitor, Van Buren’s Justine Hunt, finished second in 21:20.

Upper Sandusky had a well-rounded effort in taking a 25-18, 16-25, 25-18, 25-17 victory against Colonel Crawford on Thursday night in Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball action at Upper Sandusky. Emily Hill and Lily Gibson finished with seven kills each, while Reagan Ward contributed four aces, six kills and five blocks. Jenna Kurtz finished with five kills and four blocks for the Rams (4-9, 3-6 N10).

The Tigers took the Northern 10 Athletic Conference tournament championship, and with it, the overall league title with a 328-330 advantage over the Rams Tuesday at Valley View Golf Course.
