Upper Sandusky High School is searching for a field line caretaker for the 2017-18 school year. This person is responsible for lining the athletic fields at both USHS and Upper Sandusky Middle School during the fall and spring sports seasons.

Upper Sandusky High School girls soccer players pitched tents and set up camp before a scrimmage Sunday night into Monday, the official first day of the fall sports season.

The Upper Sandusky High School athletic department once again will offer a free Golden Ram lifetime discount pass for all senior citizens ages 62 and older in the community. The pass will allow the bearer to purchase a ticket to each USHS and Upper Sandusky Middle School home athletic event for the student price.

The Northern 10 Athletic Conference (N10) athletic ticket price schedule will be as follows for the 2016-17 school year: — Varsity contests: Adults $6 and students (K-12) $5. — Junior varsity, freshman and junior high contests: Adults $4 and students (K-12) $3. Admission will be charged for home football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, wrestling and track and field.

WALDO — The Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association recently honored junior members and volunteers and two new members of the Ohio State University golf team during its 30th year-end awards banquet at Kings Mill. Mohawk’s Billy Dunlap was presented the Marion County Youth Foundation M.E.R.I.T. scholarship for $500.

The annual Ram Rumble is Aug. 4 at the Upper Sandusky High School football stadium. Gates open at 5 p.m. with meals available at 5:30 p.m.

Upper Sandusky High School football reserved seats currently are on sale with order forms available outside the USHS office. They offer the best seats available for the season.

BUCYRUS — The Wynford Athletic Department is selling a variety of season ticket options for 2016-17. The family pass admits all members of the purchaser’s immediate family to all home sporting events, both high school and junior high, for $375.
