Seneca East pulls away in 2nd half, but Carey sneaks into playoffs ATTICA — Carey made tackles and played good defense in the first half, but from the opening kickoff of the second half, that changed. D.J. Ruffing returned that kick 82 yards for a touchdown, and the Tigers eventually ran away with a 42-13 victory against Carey to guarantee them a playoff game and leave the Blue Devils wondering if they would make the postseason.
