Upper Sandusky student receives OHSAA umpire license When Upper Sandusky senior Connor Landversicht is umpiring a baseball game, he feels he is giving back to the community and is closer to and more involved in the game he loves. Landversicht began taking his Beginning Officials courses through the Ohio High School Athletic Association in the middle of February in Marion, where he received instruction from Casey Mackay, a high school and college baseball umpire. He took a rules test, mechanics test and an OHSAA test and was required to have a score of 70% or higher on each test. Read More
