Upper Sandusky seniors Brett Montgomery and Evan Young wrapped up their high school golf careers at Lincoln Hills Golf Club as winners on Wednesday, as the Rams topped Mohawk 172-200 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play.

BLUFFTON — Carey kept its perfect record with a 176-184 victory against Pandora-Gilboa in a boys golf match Wednesday at Bluffton Golf Club.

GALION — Upper Sandusky won both doubles matches but Galion swept singles competition to take a 3-2 victory in a girls tennis match Wednesday at Heise Park.

VANLUE — Riverdale volleyball opened Blanchard Valley Conference play with a 25-18, 25-15, 21-25, 25-23 loss to Vanlue on Wednesday evening at Vanlue.

ARLINGTON — Andrew Kuenzli medaled with a 41, but Leipsic came out on top against Riverdale 180-188 in Blanchard Valley Conference golf action Wednesday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course.

Both Montgomery and Young are four-year starters, and they have gone 20-6 in their career at Lincoln Hills.

BUCYRUS — Kameryn Webb’s goal when he switched from soccer to cross country was to help Upper Sandusky win a Northern 10 Athletic Conference championship. Webb and the Rams so far have the look of a title team. They edged Northmor for the championship Tuesday in the Wynford Invitational at The Crawford County Fairgrounds.

BUCYRUS — Upper Sandusky handed Bucyrus its first Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf of the season 171-184 on Tuesday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus.

BUCYRUS — Even without her team leader in kills, Wynford volleyball coach Lynsey Trusty remained confident the Royals could still effectively run a 5-1 offense.

Kaden Dunford led Wynford with a seventh-place finish in 19:07.20, two spots ahead of Matt Schiefer in ninth place in 19:13.49. Ryan Ruth had a 17th-place finish in 19:42.29, Soren Gerlach was 30th in 20:30.31, and William Stinehelfer took 40th place in 20:46.90.
