NORTH ROBINSON — Upper Sandusky erased a five-run deficit and plated six runs in the eighth inning to end its baseball season with a 12-6 win Friday at Colonel Crawford.

ATTICA — The Upper Sandusky High School varsity softball team will face Bellevue in a Division II district semifinal game at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Seneca East. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students.

Upper Sandusky will have its youth baseball camp from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday for any student currently in first through sixth grades. The cost of the camp is $25 and includes a T-shirt and lunch.

A Celebrity Hoops for Hospice of Wyandot County fundraiser is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. July 13 at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church. Proceeds from the event will benefit the local hospice agency, a nonprofit organization that never turns away clients due to inability to pay.

Upper Sandusky High School will host athletic physical events for high school and middle school athletes (entering grades 7-12). Wyandot Memorial Hospital staff, along with local chiropractors and ophthalmologists will provide physical exams for a $15 donation to the USHS Athletic Department.

A youth tennis camp for boys and girls entering grades 4-8 will be held from 8:30-10:30 a.m. June 20-23 at Upper Sandusky High School. Forms are available outside the high school office and at each elementary school office.

Highway 101 scored the game’s first 13 runs to beat Reineke, 13-6, in a girls slowpitch softball game Wednesday.

Through four innings of a Division II sectional final softball game, Shelby kept the Upper Sandusky bats under control. Then, Maddison Stansbery flipped the script.

BUCYRUS — Colonel Crawford and Upper Sandusky battled for the top girls spot in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference championships Friday night at Bucyrus, but in the end, the Eagles topped the Rams for their second straight title.
