Eagles edge Royals in N10 match

GALION — Colonel Crawford stayed undefeated in dual matches this season, defeating Wynford, 215-218, with Crestline finishing third with a 255. The Eagles’ Nick Gremling and Eli Shultz shared medalist honors with 48s.

BC, St. Paul top Wynford

NEW WASHINGTON — One player from each team shared medalist honors, but Buckeye Central came away the winner in a girls golf tri-match Tuesday at Cranberry Hills Golf Course. Buckeye Central edged Norwalk St. Paul, 211-217, with Wynford finishing third with a 225.

Weinandy medals as Warriors win Elks Invite; Rams take 2nd

BUCYRUS — Carson Weinandy shot a 75 to earn medalist honors and lead Mohawk to the championship in the rainy Elks Invitational on Monday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. The Warriors finished well ahead of runner-up Upper Sandusky, 319-341, with Galion third with a 345. Complete results, including those for Wynford, were not available.

Grand champion

The Upper Sandusky High School competition squad recently placed first in the large division and was named grand champion at Elmwood High School.

Upper Thunder 10U

The Upper Thunder 10-and-younger team recently completed its first travel softball season with an 8-6 record and two semifinal finishes.
